It is about the truth and the reality of what actually happened during and after the earthquake. The author did not only expresses the real condition his country is going through but also offers the only solution that can change a historical condition that many believe to be economic or social but in reality, the fundamental issue is spiritual.
This book was such an uplifting read. It was one I was able to finish on a weekend but and I was sad to finally lay down. I found a book that was easily attainable, insightful, and infused with simple thoughts. I’m looking forward to reading more of Odule Bitol in the future. I love books that change the way I think in a positive way and this was definitely one of them. I believe every missionary that intends to visit and help the island of Haiti should read this book first.
Missionary work has always been a rewarding and sometimes dangerous task, but it is one that gives great joy to the followers of the Lord God as it is a means to welcome more children of God to come to his side. But with the information found within this book, missionaries can easily navigate the landscape of Haiti and relate to the Haitian people as the book contains every major event that occurred on the island.
With thousands of books published every year claiming to understand the world’s problems and what to do about them, this is the true answer. It applies not only to Haiti and it’s historical curse of voodoo, but to America and it’s false gods as well.
Got this book from a friend. The book touches on the sensitive topic of the history of the Haitian people and their struggles with being an independent country, the independent Latin American nation had suffered through war, famine, natural disasters, corrupt governments, and the loss of faith in God. It also shows the means of redemption and salvation for the Haitian. Inspiring to read!

After reading Haiti, Return to GOD; I’m convinced that the problem of Haiti is not social or material, but spiritual. Apostle Odule Bitol is very persuasive using biblical principles and examples to expose the truth behind Haiti’s self destruction. This book is a must – read that can be used as a model for every nation who wants to see their country return to the Creator of heaven and earth.
